Co-operation and projects

The Dutch agricultural sector is strongly international and therefore, so is Aeres. International co-operation for Aeres has three aspects to it. One is contributing to international projects of NGO’s, second is stimulating Dutch students to improve their international skills (languages and cultural awareness), the third is learning from others.

Sustainable food production

Aeres wants to contribute to finding answers for the world food problems. We do this primarily by educating people on food production or improving education in general. To do so we work together with a number of organisations in international projects.

Doing business abroad

Many agricultural companies are internationally active or their businesses, large, small and medium, are intertwined with businesses abroad. As a result of that, most employees in the sector will sooner or later be in contact with people abroad. This can be working from the Netherlands or somewhere around the world. They sell or buy products, they answer the phone or they engage in long term relationships, build businesses together. Aeres educates these professionals and is very aware of the international connections and the demands they put on those who work in the sector.

Learning from others

Aeres takes her own advice, find learning opportunities wherever they emerge. In our search we participate in international networks and work together with partners on improving our courses and knowledge on technology and production processes.
